Maya (she/her) is an artist focused on making all things with empathy and joy. She is excited by family dramas that are set in a singular room, pieces that reflect the beauty and horror of living in our current world, and great lighting.

She has performed roles Off-Broadway, at George Street Playhouse, The Lyric Opera of Chicago, and Studio Theatre. Most recently, she played Chava in Fiddler on the Roof at Paper Mill Playhouse. Maya can also be seen onscreen in Mordeo for Crypt TV.

A lover of Yiddish, Maya founded a Yiddish trio called "The Mamales” in 2022. They have been featured in Kveller, The Forward, and perform nationwide. She can also be seen, and featured on Hey Alma, as Karen in Yiddish Mean Girls.

In her free time, she enjoys wandering around antique stores, improvisational cooking, and reading for pleasure.
