about
Maya is an artist moved by dysfunctional families and exceptional lighting.
She’s been seen Off-Broadway and on stages across the country, including the Alliance, Paper Mill Playhouse, the Huntington, the Lyric Opera of Chicago, and Asolo Repertory. She can also be found dying a very bloody death in CryptTV’s Mordeo. Most recently, she received the Louise Lamont Award for her work at PlayMakers Repertory.
A lover of Yiddish, Maya co-founded The Mamales, a Yinglish trio that’s been featured in Kveller, The Forward, and performs nationwide. She was also featured on Hey Alma, as Karen, in Yiddish Mean Girls.
In her down time, she enjoys antique stores, improvisational cooking, and reading for pleasure.
